I am more than willing to meet the people that I talk with as long as they don't live 2000 miles away!
It seems to me that the women are the ones scared to meet in person.

I have met a good, a bad and an ugly all in the same day!..lol
Actually he was ugly, seemed to be good then turned out to be bad....
Things aren't much different meeting people on a computer or at school.

I have met a couple girls that I have met on ICQ. I have to agree that Women seem to be the ones that don't want to meet. Thinking back on the ones that I have met ,,, I can see why! Are all the women on the computer...fat?...ugly?.. and work at McDonalds?

I have met two guys in person that I talked to in Yahoo Chat.
One was an ####### that wouldn't leave me alone afterwards and the other was a great guy. I am still seeing the second one. We have been together for almost a year now.
One outta two isn't bad...

I have met a few guys that I first talked to on yahoo chat. I have to disagree with some of the posts here.... MEN are the ones that don't want to meet in person. They enjoy hiding behind a computer!
I live in Kansas.....( no Dorothy jokes please)!

I have met quite a few women from chatrooms. Most of the women that I met ended up being a quick dinner. The one woman that I met, spent "quality" time with and would have liked to continue seeing told me about her husband after the fact.
My biggest problem with the people that I have met is the lying. Most people arent honest about their appearance, education (or lack of it) and their marital status.
I would love to meet someone that I could spend "alot" of time with.....
Rose--willing to move? lol

I have been going into chat rooms for about three years now. I enjoy talking to people from different countries. I have learned that the computer is a fantasy world for everyone.
I don't expect to meet anyone in person....ever!

I had been chatting in Yahoo chat rooms for about two yrs before I found someone that I felt I would like to meet in person. Unfortunately, this first meeting was a disaster!
The girl turned out to be 15, I am 24. She had told me she was 22. I got away from that one in two seconds!
The second time I met someone was almost a year ago.
We met for the first time at a mall. We walked, talked and had dinner together. We ended up spending the next two days together. Within a couple months we were living together and are getting married next month.
There is good and bad everywhere. You just have to work on finding the good ones!
Good things can come from unusual places.

I really enjoy meeting the people that I talk to in chatrooms.
I have been chatting for about 3 years and have met 15+ women. Some good,,,, some not so good..
I haven't met "the right one" yet...but ya never know.
I have been single for 10 years (I'm 49) and have dated quite a bit. The computer has made it alot easier for me to meet people.
I'm having fun.....
