I'm married, lonely and chatting with a guy online for nearly a year now.  Sometimes I feel like I love him, but I know that's foolish since I've never even seen a picture of him.  My concern is this...I just don't understand what's happened between us.  He's my cyber lover AND freind.  And comments would be appreciated.

You actually answered your own question.  It is truly impossible to "Love" someone that you haven't met.
It is impossible to completely intimate with someone unless you are face to face.
The feelings of excitement, anticipation and lust are all
pictures that you have made in your own mind.  I'm not saying that this is a bad thing... just be careful, k?

Guard your heart, online & off!  Remember that MOST (not all, there are exceptions) people who claim to "love" you before they've even met you face-to-face are:

1.Mentally-ill :roll: ...or
2.Not the person in their pic or profile :wink: ...or
3.MUCH older or younger than they claim to be...or
4.Married or have a significant other in real life...or
5.Have children even if they say they don't...or
6.Addicted to drugs, alcohol or even the internet itself...or
7.Have ulterior motives for wooing you online (wanting your money, etc) :x ...

Be careful.  Be a little paranoid.  And try to meet people in the real world instead...the internet is best used for research, entertainment & business.

I say RUN! Dont waste your time or your heart on anyone who can not even let you see a picture of them! I no longer trust pictures either as anyone can put up a picture and say it's them......It's a game on here nothing more just a game to feed thier weak egos...and you can bet your bottom dollar you are not the only one hes chatting up....
