I first started talking to "Gentle Ben" in a card game room on Yahoo. He told me his name was Ben, 24, casino worker in Mississippi. It kinda felt like dating cause we would meet on the computer each night at the same time. Funny, when one of us was late we felt bad!
I only talked to Ben on the phone one time for a very brief time. He seemed so at ease talking to me on the computer but when I mentioned a phone call he always backed away.
I guess this should have told me something.
I finally told him that I thought it was time we met each other.
After asking him a couple times if we could meet, he finally gave up and told me the truth about himself.
He was 14...
I thought about the different times that he had led me into conversations that now are quite embarrassing! I had always felt that cyber sex was quite silly but talked freely with Ben.
Damn, if this happened in "real life" I could go to jail.
This is probably the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me. The first of it's kind and hopefully the last.
I was glad to see some of the stories in here and know that I am not the only gullable person in the world...
It hasn't stopped me from chatting but it has made me alot more cautious.
